In a world that is drowning in data and information, the most precious commodity is WISDOM – the ability to make sound judgments and harness knowledge. Never before has there been a wider gap between those who are spiritually awake and those who are sleepwalking through life.
In the coming years you will only see this chasm widen. Wisdom comes from the outside. It’s requested and received. It’s not merely a ‘given.’ And it should never be taken for granted. Common Sense is uncommon and it will always be valued. Those who lack wisdom are unable to perceive things that are staring them right in the face. And nothing you say will make them see.
Proverbs 3:13-14 says, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
Although wisdom is a precious commodity, understanding is the underlying foundation of wisdom. Most of the time, generally speaking, with the vast amount of information that is available to us, we still fail to understand. And it’s a life long journey of one’s soul in seeking knowledge, wisdom and true understanding.
"Always fix your gaze upon that which is good and righteous. Do not be distracted by fools or partake in their folly. Then shall you live safely in the land and walk firmly with sure footing on solid spiritual ground with truth, knowledge, wisdom and understanding." Thus saith the Lord.
Learn more about wisdom and understanding by reading the book of Proverbs in your bible and by learning how to listen to God through Word of Knowledge and Word of Wisdom. These are two manifestations of the Gift of Holy Spirit available to every born again Christian believer. I invite you learn more about receiving Word of Wisdom through the gift of holy spirit.
