Blessings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
We are living in very challenging times. Not only are we experiencing an influx of (un)natural disasters that may be frightening, we are also seeing very exciting times full of amazing technological advancements that are causing temptation and new challenges never before dealt with throughout history.
In James 1:2-4 it says, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations [trials, adversity, challenges]; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh [develops, produces] patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect [mature] and entire [complete], wanting [lacking] nothing."
Remember, as a born again Christian you are God's child. He will watch out for you and keep you safe. Have patience with God giving Him a chance to come through for you.
The dictionary defines patience as:

God defines patience as:
Patience is a fruit of the spirit as listed in Galatians 5:22. This is not the simple kind of patience like waiting in line at the store. The word here is longsuffering; persevering endurance for overcoming temptations and challenges.
