| One Nation Under God |
The United States of America is in trouble. That much we can all agree on. The finer details are debatable.
The effects of this trouble are not just limited to the USA. There is a trickle down effect being felt all over the world.
But it doesn't matter who's to blame, Democrats, Republicans (or any other political party), the current President, your local government, The Fed, major corporations, Big Pharma, etc...
The main source of the problem comes down to all of us,
"We the People".
The USA was founded on Christian principles. As a nation, the dominant religion has been Christianity (including all forms and denominations). God and His commandments were always at the core of our foundation and the decisions we made. And we as a nation prospered in every way because of it.
God's Word, the church and strong religious beliefs used to be integral to most Americans in their personal lives. As the people in our nation have been slowly drifting away from God, their churches and away from basic Christian values, our nation as a whole has been suffering.
The best way to fix ANY problem is to
treat the cause, not the symptoms.
The problems our nation is facing today are not insurmountable to God. We can fix all our problems, both personal and national, but not by treating the symptoms.
National Day of Prayer for America
God's Word First supports the efforts of The Response and Governor Rick Perry in their call to prayer for a nation in crisis. It's a National Day of Prayer and Fasting event happening in Houston, Texas.
Although we do not agree with all their doctrinal beliefs, nor do we condone some of the controversial actions of The Response founders, we fully support their heart of love in wishing for all people to turn their hearts to God in prayer for the benefit of our nation.
God's Word First Christian Ministry will be participating in the prayer event by holding a National Prayer Day Conference Phone Call on Saturday, August 6, 2011. Anyone interested in listening in to our call and praying with us in spirit may do so.

We are encouraging schools, churches, businesses, people of influence in the media, military, government and families to also pray. Please email us and let us know you would like to be an organizer. Email to: support (at) gods-word-first.org. We will send you some info privately on what to do and where to go.
NOTE: This is not about pushing any one religion or denomination. There is no political agenda behind this call. This is about moving the hearts of people of the United States to turn to God in prayer and ask Him for His help. He is ready and waiting.
But God needs us to be His mouthpiece.
We are asking fellow Christians to help coordinate a movement of God's word across our country to the magnitude of Moses leading people out of Egypt- and the Apostles on the day of Pentecost.
Those who will help coordinate prayer around the country are NOT to be respecters of persons.
We need to look beyond denominations and finer details. We ARE Gods example. We will need to pray for meekness and humility of other leaders before we approach them - so they hear the word of God you speak while you invite them to join us.
Thank you for your heart and effort in moving this invitation for prayer. God needs you and will bless you abundantly for your heart and effort.
As the Bible says in James 1:22: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
