The Holy Spirit: Do you know the difference between receiving and working it? |
Greetings!
Blessings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
We have launched into the New Year - and we are believing for you to have a prosperous, healthy and fruitful one! This is going to be a fantastic year of deeper instruction in God's Word to help you gain God's Wisdom for a life that is abundant.
One of the areas of difference with God's Word First Ministry is that our core platform of teaching is not specifically focused on getting people born again. There are many wonderful churches and people who have that ministry of outreach. At GWF- our members are already born again. They have already received Holy Spirit. Our core purpose is to teach and share with you how to work and walk by the Holy Spirit you already have.
The moment we became born again, our lives changed. We have permanent seed from God that cannot be taken away. We were given an amazing gift!
Have you ever received a gift like a kitchen utensil? An electronic device? Or even a household tool from a friend or family member- but were not completely sure how to use it? You appreciated the heart and thoughtfulness in their giving... but you were not sure about details of how it really worked?
Receiving the Holy Spirit from God is like that. We know we have it- but how do you really USE it? How do you really work it? How do we help others who are unclear in their knowledge as to whether they have received Holy Spirit?
To be clear and strong in your standing with God, have confidence in truly knowing you HAVE received Holy Spirit, and understand when you are walking by the spirit- a study of the Greek words Lambano and Dechomai is needed.
The key in how to receive and work the Holy Spirit is found in knowing the definition and usage of these two Greek words used through out the Bible. (Other languages do not deliver the true impact that the Greek does.)
